FOOD DRIVE/SANTA'S WORKSHOP
“We would like to thank Mr. Dave, the faculty, and staff of the LEAP Program for an outstanding Christmas Lunch prior to the Christmas break!”
Our students have learned valuable life skills over the holiday season this year. It is our hope these lessons will serve students well as they grow. Learning the importance of giving, was a lesson learned as students participated in the LEAP Food Drive and Santa's Workshop.
In addition, students have asked to be challenged everyday academically and socially. With a goal to become productive members of our society and encouraged to push themselves mentally and emotionally. Students have stated, “with the support from the staff we feel this year has been a success! We look forward to continuing to grow as students and as young adults”.
In October we were able to take a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We went through the corn maze and brought back pumpkins for everyone to decorate. We would like to thank Mr. Dave for taking us on this great trip.
Congratulations to classroom three for bringing in the most food and winning the Pizza lunch. The food was donated to the Seagate Food Bank.
Buying presents for our family helped with our shopping.
